The Alice City Council agenda is prepared under the direction of the City Manager. In accordance with requirements established by the Texas Open Meetings Act, the agenda is posted at a minimum of 72 hours prior to the start of a meeting.
City Council Meetings also replay on Time Warner channel 5 at regular intervals. Most meetings are also available on our YouTube and Facebook pages.
How to appear before the Governing Body, Boards, Commissions, and Committees
The City Council holds regular meetings at 4:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. Prior meeting minutes not listed on this page can be obtained by contacting the City Clerk's office.
Meeting minutes are available after they are prepared by the City Clerk and approved by the Council. The first opportunity for Council approval is at the next Council meeting. Workload, other duties, and holidays may delay the date of the approval, and the Council does not always approve the minutes at the first opportunity.
The Office of the City Clerk does not create transcriptions of meetings or portions of meetings. However, audio recordings are available. If minutes of a recent meeting have not yet been approved, consider listening to the audio recording.
