Building Inspection is a division of the Community Services Department of the City of Alice which performs ordinance enforcement in the areas of:
- Construction of both commercial and residential structures
- Zoning (allowed uses of property in the City of Alice)
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Signs
- Fences
The Building Inspection Division is responsible for residential and commercial building plan review, permitting and inspections of residential and commercial construction, and administration of electricians registrations and contractors registrations.
