An Operational Permit allows an occupant to conduct an operation or business and can include many types of businesses. Some examples include:
- Carnivals and fairs
- Combustible dust-producing operations
- Exhibits and trade shows
- Hot work operations
- Open burning
- Places of assembly
- Pyrotechnic special effects material
- Repair garages and motor fuel-dispensing facilities
- Storage of scrap tires and tire byproducts
- Temporary membrane structures
This type of permit is required for every business and is currently included when a Certificate of Occupancy is obtained.
